Re: Shooting in the Sixties
I had a Colt 45 ACP National Match - NOT a Gold Cup.
It was extremely accurate and a pleasure to shoot. It would also feed just about anything including a wadcutter.
I no longer have it as I am considered unworthy by our honest politicians.

Monster. Is this because the barrel is over 30cms long? If I had a FAC, could I get one?

I'm not happy, but I'm not unhappy about it. Alan Bennett.

Cherokee...all you need is good reason...ie suitable target range.
I suppose the point I'm trying to make is why take away my 1911 Colt gov and S&W mod 28 but let me have this?

Political expedience. One party trying to hang onto power, the other trying to gain it. Coupled with the demonsation of pistol shooters by the likes of.........? The News of the World!!!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?
