Hi guys
I am a relatively late comer to shooting, apart from a very small amount some 40 years ago with the TA (SLR's), I finally got around to taking up the sport approx. 3 years ago starting by using the club guns for gallery rifle, having caught the bug I quickly obtained my FAC and now own 2 lever action rifles, a 357 Marlin with a scope, and a 45LC Rossi with iron sights, a LBR, a Ruger 10/22. and 2 immaculate Ruger Old Army black powder pistols.
I entered the Bisley AAW for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it, and am looking forward to the next one in Spring.
I have a slot for a 308, but until I'm able to find what I want/can afford, I am enjoying using our club 308 (a Remington 700 in an AI stock with Nightforce scope) and have shot from 300 out to 1000yds with good results. I also reload all my own 357 and 45, and saving the brass that I use from the 308 for when I get my own.
all the best and Happy New Year.
Alan
