I am looking for a safety spring for a Lanber O/U shotgun, ideally the later wave sort however the earlier wire type would suffice.

If you have one sitting in a draw please shout as this is all that is holding the gun back from going back into use and I know the owner would love to be able to use it again.

I have tried all the usual suspects, only alternative now is make one which will be time consuming hence my desire to buy one.

Thanks for the link Gazza, I see this chap is a sole trader as opposed to a huge corporate so he could well be worth a closer look. I will give him a shout on Monday which has to be easier than me sitting down and making one from scratch.

I've dealt with him before Dave and he works from home like yourself. It was a while ago so cant remember his name for the life of me.

I can probably source one of the later sprung sheet springs, on my doorstep. The guy is an old work colleague, he wouldn't rip me, and I would only expect you to cover my cost plus P&P.

Let me know before Wednesday am, as he is passing my work, and will deliver.
