Hi to you all
I first heard about this sight from ovenpaa over at Sporting services websight, l have just bought my self a AI AE Mk111 in 308 along with a S&B pm11 12.5x50 scope. l have been shooting for about 25yrs. lm a regular at Bisley so l hope to meet Ovenpaa there and anyone else from here. l have just posted prior [.303] to this so my apologies for going the wrong way round. l look foreward to gleaning more info regarding the different disaplines l shoot. ie 45/70 44.40. .303. 223 rem and 2 308s the last are f/tr class

Sounds like you will fit right in with the forum and the forum shoot on the 4th of August (morning) it is an informal (I think!) McQueen comp for whoever shows up, the more that show the cheaper it gets and the Viking is trying to get some sort of F-B(UK) prize sorted for the top score :goodjob:

Ovenpaa,
I was told that you have a spare AI in the cabinet that your lad never uses - that would make a suitable prize!

Well someone sold me a Moderator a while ago and we have fitted it to his AI now. He seems to smile a lot now as he hurls 190's down range, he even has them working reasonable well out to 1200 yards so I doubt it will be sold any time soon. The good news is he is looking at his first house now so with luck he will get his cabinet in and apply for an FAC which will free up some room in our rather crowded cabinets.
I must admit I had not considered his AI as a prize, mostly because he is bigger than me!

Shame,
Perhaps Mik Mak will donate that AICS AX stocked rifle with the fluted barrel that he had at the Long Distance shoot, did we get a picture of it?
