Somehow I don't think the car driver's insurance company were keen to wear this given the skateboarder was unlikely to have the means to reimburse them or be insured.

You couldn't do that on the poor condition UK roads, an ever lasting series of pot holes connected by a thread of tarmacadam.

One of the reasons I sold off my lovely 944 and kept the old Land Rover 2A as my daily driver.
