I'm in the market for a new .22 semi for a bit of mini rifle and am torn between these 2 guns, has anyone got any experience of either of these or can someone suggest anything else? Budget max £1200. Thanks in advance.

They are both off the shelf rifles, the Kriss has a growing reputation for reliability.

The Tippman is a bit of an unknown.

Bradley arms will also build you a great custom rifle.

The Kriss has had a lot of breakages, extractors, firing pins and bolt catches. The MLOK rail, isn't MLOK, because it was made outside the USA and Magpul won't license MLOK made outside the USA. Probably China. The Kriss can take 10/22 barrels, but nothing with a match chamber, Bentz chamber.
The Tippman only has a 20 round mag capacity, but it's still too new to have any other issues reported on. Comes with very basic furniture for £999.

Lantac have a new rifle, it's £995, forged upper and lower with a SPADA MLOK handguard, Magpul furniture, mag adapter for 25 round S&W mags, working bolt hold open and the barrel has a Bentz chamber for accuracy.
Called the LA-SF it's going to take the place of the CMMG in their line up.



If I didn't already have a CMMG with a match chamber barrel, that cost considerably more, I would have a SF on order!

If The Lantac is anything like the rest of their kit then for a grand I’d be ordering one of those too.

After reading up on the M4/AR15 rifles I have ordered a Lantac one as it seems to have the best write ups, it has just arrived in this country so we will see shortly.

I have looked on Lantac's website and can't see it on there.

The only solid way of dealing with them is by phone. Facebook is the best way of seeing what’s new with them.
