Who says smoothbores are inaccurate?

If you ignore the two .44 Magnum holes my brother made I think that's quite good going.

50 yards with my Pedosoli "Brown Bess". Standing off hand. .710-ish ball, rough-cut calico patch lubed with hand moisturiser ;)

Off hand at 50 yards? I would say that was very impressive

Cheers, I was happy with it.

Though, now I've got a nicely bruised cheek from the horrible comb of the Brown Bess stock. It is designed specifically to lie right under your cheekbone.

I had a friend years ago that used to spend more time head down looking for flints than looking where he was walking, he would spend hours building his own flints.
