Buyer either collects or pays RFD to RFD costs (£30). I am based 10 minutes from J17 on the M6.

The 28/30 is a rare beast in this country and I had to import this one from Finland. Bizarrely it has a German proof mark so has already been on a bit of a journey. Simo Hayha seemed to get on alright with his!

Both 91/30s have Finn triggers and cleaning rods and were properly bedded when put together. The vast majority of the Tikka 91/30 rifles were put together post war and the round receiver rifles are rare compared to hex receivers. This one has a stacked blade front sight as opposed to the normal globe sights.

It is quite common for a lot of Mosins to have German proof as many come into the UK and the rest of Europe via German importers like WaffenSchumacher that have them proofed in Germany as it is a legal requirement.

My old '39 Izhevsk M91/30 and '44 Izhevsk M44 Carbine both had modern German proofmarks, as does my 26' Izhevsk ex-Dragoon.

A fine looking pair of Finns you have there, good luck with the sale Comrade :good:

It is indeedy a nice one. Only strange as it is a Finn that went to Germany, got itself proofed, then went back to Finland where I bought it. Bit of sellers remorse on the part of the Finns?

I believed Frankonia acquired large numbers of Finn rifles when they were very common but now quite scarse even in Finland. Same story in Czech Rep . Lot of the stocks of Vz52/57 went to Germany, to the point that Czech shooters, waking-up to their heritage have now to re-import them .
Both my M39 Mosin and Vz 52/57 were purchased in Germany.

Fine looking rifles BTW ! I am sure the buyers will enjoy them !!!

I love the look of the Tula 91/30, have a spare slot for 54r but a lack of spare funds unfortunately otherwise I'd have snapped it up at that price.Had a few Izhevsk Mosina's but never a Tula.
