I think you could get a look a like based on a ruger 10/22 at one point, but auto firing is illegal

Going back four or five years ITL were supplying .22 Thompson look-a-likeys.

Their website is here:

they aren't advertising them any more, but might be worth a ring.

I definitely recall a semi auto version in .22, made by Auto-Ordnance.

Back in the 80's and early 90's Sportique imported the Auto Ordnance Thompson .
It was made by someone else for Auto Ordnance , and the drum mag really worked . It was also very accurate .

The ITL one is a Ruger 10/22 with a conversion kit . The maker of this kit is not licensed to export them .

A couple of years back there was an American company who was making a complete version of the Thompson , but they seem to have vanished now .

Yeah I absolutely understand it couldn't be full auto, semi would be just as fun. Haha I've seen a few US ones but couldn't find any over here. I'm guessing they have dropped off in the last couple of years. Oh well, keep my eyes open and hope without holding my breath. Just thought it could be fun.

Give ITL a ring as he did have a genuine Auto-Ordnance one, not cheap though.

Nice, cheers Mattnall. That's not a bad price either. Something else on my wishlist now. Haha
