I bought this SMLE from another member on here last year and need to sell it to make space for a new purchase, plus my gangley arms need something with a longer stock!

I believe it was manufactured by BSA in the 1920's and it has the magazine cut-off. The stock and metalwork is mostly broad arrow marked and from what Google has told me, it was used by the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserves as it has RNVR stamped on the butt. It also has SANFPE stamped on the disk which could denote South African service.

The bore is very good and bright, the action is smooth and the woodwork is good for nearly 100 years old.

£475

Viewing can be arranged at Bisley.
