Ammo recovered from the battlefield.

Interesting the propellany is in STICK format in the catridges rather than the powder used today..

Can you imagine the hysteria if they had the same exhibits anywhere in the UK!!!

That would be Cordite wouldn't it?, looks like strands of spaghetti.

Yes, cordite was in strips inside the cartridge case.
