Any one using these in milspec AR's eg Bradley Arms, CMMG, Spikes etc, what sort of of life are you getting from them?

My Lantac CMMG is using the original firing pin and it is fine, I always make sure that it is never dry fired as they insisted and the only thing that has happened is the plastic forward assist broke as I had been told it would but works fine without it, and it is cheaper than buying a stainless one for £80!

I’ve found the CMMG ones as good as the taccom. My Guiselle SSAE eats a pin about every 5-8,000 rounds. The taccom was no different.

According to Rob at Lantac he can get them. He mentioned it when I went to pick up the CMMG. He did state they were about £80.

Still on my original Spikes pin after 8 years and about 3000rds per year.
As was said, never dry fire them.
I've since made a spare pin on a mini-lathe as a backup, just in case. Plus it was an excuse to buy a mini lathe *ahem*

Interesting, what trigger are you running?
