Remington 1903A3 dated March 43 For Sale

Remington 1903A3, Matching Receiver/Bolt & Barrel in calibre .30-06.
The Barrel is dated 3-43 meaning March 1943 all parts are stamped with an R for Remington manufacture. The rifle still has the original pins through the wood under the receiver & has not been upgraded with fitted screws. Screws fitted when rifles were refeurbed to allow the rifle to be strong enough to shoot rifle grenades.
Rifle comes with a very good reproduction light tan coloured leather sling.
Rifle is in excellent overall condition and shoots like a dream, with either factory or reloaded ammo it does like a .308 bullets between 155/168gr. See target picture shot last year at 600yds.

There is a 1942 dated M1 bayonet stamped WT = Wilde Drop Forge and Tool they only made 60,000 bayonets during 1942/43 This is a rare bayonet & can be bought seperatly for £250
