I just bought a Voere .22 semi - open bolt.
It does not appear to be the 2005, at least the magazines from my Mauser 105 dont fit.
While the mags from my Voere bolt action appear to, havenet tired a test fire yet.
Did Voere make earlier versions for the 2005?

I first came across a Voera semi auto in the 1970s.

I bought one second hand in about 1975 and still use it regularly. Very accurate semi-auto/single shot rifle but pretty poor trigger.

Open Bolt????????
All the Voere semi autos I've seen, (including my own) fire from a closed bolt!

The Voere 2005 and Mauser 105 are the same gun and both open bolt.
Gevarm also made open bolt guns.
The BSA Ralock was open bolt.
Winchester also made a single s*** open bolt- model 55

The open bolt system is stripping a semi-auto .22 to basics. Very few moving parts and very reliable ignition as the chisel faced "firing pin" whacks the case with the whole weight of the bolt and has two bites at the primer.
I remember shooting open bolt semi-auto .22's on Brighton pier in 50/60's.
