He is a working dog that was a Paratrooper in a previous life, that look was because he had just been called inside.

we had hail yesterday too and a very very brief shower of snow.

Yeah, we saw a few snow flakes this morning, before the hail.
Surreal with all the flowers in the garden coming up at the moment.
