Marine New Uniform with M4

It appears the marines have been on a shopping trip and are getting some new outfits...

What I found interesting was that all the 'official' shots show the marines using M4 / M16 family rifles. There's no L85A2/3 insight.

RM have been issuing the Canadian C8 to some units for last couple of years, and announced last year they would be replacing all L85A2/3 in RM use with the C8 or more correctly, the L119A1. That's why there's no L85 to be seen in publicity photos with the new RM uniform.

Well the sea hats wouldn't want to look like professional soldiers wearing MTP - God no. Much better to try to look like sceptics.
I trust they aren't using Mk262 ammunition in these rifles, you know the ammo that wrecks rifles.
All in all I can think tax payers money could be better spent on the troops on something that might actually improve their welfare or likelyhood of not sustaining a fatal injury on ops.

Probably not as cheap as the yanks without upsetting the yoghurt weavers when it comes to prisoners rights.

well apparently that is now classed as SLAVERY! Same reason they'r enot our picking fruit and veg instead of slaves, sorry low paid immigrant workers. WTF

The company was Diemaco (correct spelling) however they are now Colt Canada.
