I have a nice Baikel O/U, ejector with double triggers.
Cheap as chips and reliable.

Where in the world are you?
Re: Cheap 12 Gauge
The Baikal would be my choice, everyone should own one at some point! Does it have the ejector lock off? It is also essential to source some period Record cartridges for early evening pyrotechnic displays. I shot a few boxes last week and my neck is still twinging :)

Up North.
He can only be in Caithness, Orkney or Shetland.
Unless he is a bird when he could be in all three at once.

You can, it just doesn't dent.Christel wrote:I have a Baikal, can't beat it
We have a couple of single barrel Baikals for use on the farm, they can be used as crowbars or scaffolding and still shoot great. I've seen barrel blanks thinner than the barrel wall thickness of this gun.
One farm worker who shall remain nameless had a 12ga bird scarer ignite and get stuck in the barrel, opened the gun, laid it down (threw to the ground, actually) and when it went off about 6' of flame came out either end. No damage to the gun at all.
