Unknown Oiler

Can anyone identify this oiler please? It appears to be nickel plated, has an oil reservoir at one end and I suspect the PB brush is a later addition.

Thoughts anyone?

EDIT - Found it, an M1 Garand.
DOUBLE EDIT - It looks like this will go with my Springfield as well.

Looks like it could be American I have 2 very similar from a M1 Garand & a 1903A3.
