Have been told by club sec, that Peter Wilson, of Wilson & Wilson Fieldsports, has unfortunately died, and reportedly, due to Covid.

Anyone who had been to Peter’s shop couldn’t help to be amazed at how much stock he managed to fit in there! Or indeed, the sheer breadth of what he held! Likewise, many a visitor couldn’t believe how bloody grumpy he could be! But, for safari rifles, in particular doubles, there was probably no place better. And back in the pistol days, more Smith & Wesson’s than NYPD!!

Will be sadly missed by all shooters in Kent and across the World.

Sad news indeed, a very interesting man if you caught him on a good day and he was in the mood to talk. He’d decided that he was going to grow a vin yard and produce sparkling wine , last time we spoke he’d had a good few acres planted and was hoping to have his first bottles ready in 7-10 years.

That's planning for the future all right. If you are over 60 covid is a serious risk, and even under it can last for a very long time.
