Good evening,

I’m selling a used but good condition Steyr SSG 69 P2/P1 in .308Win. It’s a P2 barrel and trigger (slightly beefier than a P1 trigger) but with a P1 stock and bolt handle. That means you have the advantage of a barrel that is much easier to change than the P1 but it still has that classic SSG 69 look.

I’ll be honest - I don’t know what the round count is. That being said, the bore is in very good condition and the rifling is strong.

It’s threaded 5/8x24 and has a 25.5” barrel. There’s also a low profile Picatinny rail installed onto the receiver. The rifle has a Tango Lima Industries CNC machined aluminium bottom metal installed - much better than the plastic original! It also comes with a 10rd magazine - very rare and expensive when you can find them (SSG 69 .308WIN 10RD Magazine)

I’m selling it with a Kahles ZF84 6x42 with Rusan 30mm rings and reducing inserts. It’s hard to get ahold of the original rings and the Rusan’s give you the option to use a 30mm tubed scope if you so desire.

It’s used but in good condition - lens are scratch free. It has a BDC turret on top that’s calibrated to standard 7.62x51 ball ammunition.

It’s also got a Harris 6-9” bipod with notched legs, swivel/cant option and podloc.

I want to sell this all as a package initially but if there is interest for the rifle and scope individually I’ll consider it.

I’d like £1275 including RFD fees for the lot please. Delivery might be possible depending on your location. I’ve got quite a few more photos if anyone would like to see them!

Cheers,

Dr. S

As far as I am aware all the SSG 69 barrels including mine are sweated in not threaded and are not an easy replacement as they have to be cut off and the stub machined out then threaded. Having said that the barrels seem to last for ever. Mine will consistently take the centre ring out of the target.

I stand corrected! I was under the impression that only the P1 was a press/thermal fitting but it appears they all are apart from the SSG-PIV. See below. Every day is a school day!

Might have to split. I’ve got several people interested in the scope but would anyone take the rifle, Picatinny rail and 10rd magazine at £800 with RFD fees included?

Still here! I’m willing to take payment in instalments if that makes it a more attractive offer to anyone!
