Curious little Leather Holster RAF

This was also in the box from deceased estate.
No idea what revolver as its tiny but it is Webley esc shaped, any ideas.
As you can see Pedley 37328 RAF seems to have left their mark.
Needs a good home rather than a box
£20 plus £3.20 postage

looks like a ppk or an astra a60 holster. I was thinking it might have been for that cz27 but the barrel is a lot longer from the trigger guard.

I going to guess it's for a pilot's PDW carried on board as a part of his survival kit. I think PPK's were issued post-war for fighter pilots, currently Apache crew get a SA80 carbine each.

Fast jet pilots of the RAF and RN were issued with 7.65 Walter PP. it was designated the L47A1.
As an aside, some of these pistols ended up with the Army for plain clothes work in NI and Europe.
The Army bought other PPs as well, chambered in .22LR that were issued to part-time UDR as PPWs. These were designated the L66A1 which ended up in the NI Prison Service.
The holster being sold here certainly has the longer nose shape of a PP.
