FN Trombone .22lr

#1 Post by Les »

I am thinning out my collection of rifles, and my FN Trombone is the first on the list.

The trombone is a brilliant little rifle, and it's guaranteed to put a smile on anybodies face. The super slick pump action is a reminder of an earlier time when just about every fairground had its own live firing range, and the Trombone was possibly the first 'real' rifle that many of us ever fired.

I have only ever used it with .22lr, but I think it would be equally happy cycling .22 shorts or longs. The 10 round magazine feeds the rounds smoothly, aided by possibly the slickest pump action ever designed. John Browning definitely knew how to design a rifle.

I would prefer a face to face transaction, and I'm willing to travel within a 30 to 40 mile radius of Runcorn to facilitate a sale. Any further than that and it would have to be an RFD-RFD transfer, with the buyer meeting the cost.

The price is £80, and is not negotiable.

If you need any more photos or info, just ask.

Glad it sold Les. Did my best to push it for you on the airgun site.

Lovely little rifles, these. Had one when I lived in Switzerland.
