Has anyone tried out the new lightweight Magpul X22 MOE Stock?
I'm looking to having a very lightweight 10/22 and have a Hogue thumbhole stock at the moment with a 12 1/2" Volquartsen barrel, but as I am getting on a bit I need something really lightweight as we shoot targets from a standing position.

Have you tried the Ruger 10/22 Target Lite?
It is just that, very light.
You might be able to get one of those stocks to try.
The rifle itself has a tensioned aluminium sleeved barrel that doesn't add to the weight if you fancy a new rifle and get the whole package.
It looks good too.
ETA: I found this article on it - 10/22 Target Lite
