Does anyone have experience of shooting .223 with lead bullets and light powder loads for indoor use?

A very easey caliber to re load for with cast bullets using fast pistol caliber powders.
I am not going to post load data it would only be removed.
All my hand loads are shot over a Chronograph.

Yes, good cast bullet calibre. As my rifle has a 1 in 9" twist I use the NEI 71 gr. Best accuracy is at about 2100 fps with powders like N140 or N120. "Faster" powders, such as N310, bullseye or Green dot can give accuracy on a par with. 22 lr at. 22lr velocities.

Plenty of loading data is in the Lyman cast bullet handbook. You can download the third edition free, search for " lyman cast bullet handbook.pdf".
