London Small Arms company

#1 Post by Pete »

Whilst searching for the history/origin of an east London company my Dad worked for, I came across this:

http://www.glias.org.uk/journals/2-e.pdf

It's an interview with an old guy who worked on the 1912 short Enfield rifle, describing the factory and his job......fascinating, and possibly of interest for collectors of old military hardware.

I love old buldings and the skills that used to fill them. Some of them gone forever
