''Wind Calculator' - old school cardboard rotating disc thing!

Probably a long shot: has anyone got one of the following:
(Yes I know it's probably all done on a smart phone these days, but would like an 'old school' one if possible)

I'm after a cardboard circular disc which sits in a square envelope.
By turning the disc you can see your chosen yardage appear in a window against the direction of where the wind is coming from.
Other windows then show the MoA correction figures needed for different strengths of wind.

My friend has one which is called:
''Wind Calculator' by Alfred J Parker Ltd.

Thank-you.

I had one for many years, probably bought from Fultons in the late'60's. It was all part of the score book.

This is the thing I used for around 40 years - Looks like it's now a collectors item. :)

I don't think the AJP gauge is made anymore.
I bought one gauge from HPS some years ago. It was a bound, laminated affair with a circular diagram for each TR distance. Try HPS-TR?
I know in TR you are not permitted to use electronic aids on the line.
There is the Plotomatic (?) a Canadian invention which works well for plotting shots and correction and, of course, there are the individual score diagrams / cards which show wind for each range. Many designs on line to download for free.
Good luck

They were made for 303 then 144gr x762 & are not accurate for 155 or modern BC bullets. I find they give false readings & reliance vs 'using the force' & tuning in to the range & the wind patterns. They might get you in the target but after that they wont keep you there!

Ok thanks Phil, very good point.

HPS don't have any.
Only Realised after studying the above photo that they are probably for .303 and .308 so would need to change the figs on them anyway.
Sounds a lot of faff, but would still consider if someone had one available.

Cheers.

Sorry but you are wrong. They were made for 7.62x51 because target shooting standardised on that calibre. I have (had?) one somewhere, I had a quick look for it but couldn't put my hand on it. If I do find it I will offer it for sale.

I have one of those AJ Parker score book holders with the built in wind wheel for .303 with a score book insert for 7.62. I inherited it from my late father and the last score he recorded in it was dated the day before he died in March 1981
