.22 rf F class

Hi all ,
Has any one ever heard of .22 rf F class here in the UK . I see it is a growing sport in the US ,
just wondering if theres any like it here in the Uk .

That sounds cool - I couldn't find any links with pictures of the types of rifle they were using? When I was saying to you that I fancied putting a scope on my Anschutz to get more use from it...I'd be more interested in that than bench rest (no offence to BR :) ).
The other thing I've been thinking about (your 'Mini Methuen' made me think of it..), is shooting 'Mini McQueen' - scale it down for 100 yrds and shoot .22 rf....

I have been following it on and off for a while and there is an active following in the UK, some are running full F Open rigs apart from the calibre including the latest F/BR type front rests and latest and greatest glass. At the other end of the scale I have read of people running some Martini Internationals with a 'scope on and getting some cracking results. I do wonder how much of an arms race it will become.

I'm being nagged to compete on benchrest...know nothing at all about it except how to put little holes in the centre of black targets at 50. Can't use bipod but can use front rest and any glass.
Henley postal...not the same thing is it?

The NSRA call it "unrestricted class", I was going to raise this at the Shooting Council meeting next month that it hasn't been mentioned to much, I didnt realise that it was included in this years National Champs at Bisley, this is taken from the entry form

UNRESTRICTED COMPETITION
Ammunition Rimfire 5.6 mm (.22 in) calibre, Long Rifle (i.e. the
standard .22 LR rimfire specification in NSRA Rule
8.2.2).
Rifle
Any rifle chambered for rimfire 5.6 mm (.22 in) Long
Rifle cartridges (i.e. complying with Rule 8.3.2 (the
normal .22 target rifle) or 8.3.3 (lightweight sport
rifle)). Air rifles not permitted.
Sights
Any sights (i.e. open (Rule 8.4.1.1), aperture
(8.4.1.2), telescope (8.4.1.3) or single point (optical)
(8.1.4.4) are all permitted).
Front Support
A bi-pod or a front rest (such as benchrest stand,
sandbag or similar support) may be used. A sling
may be used instead of, but not in addition to a front
support.
Rear Support is Not permitted.
