Martini Enfield Trade Pattern Rifle.

I have my eye on a Martini Enfield (Metford ?) Trade Pattern rifle.
As it's a trade pattern rifle it has very little in the way of markings. It is a standand Infantry model with a bayonet lug for the P/1888(?) bayonet. It has been Nitro proofed, which is why I assume it's an Enfield not a Metford and the maker is W.W.Greener.
I spoke with the RFD last night and the only other marking on it looks like TD or TB.
I done all the usual searches to try and find any more details, but I'm thinking the only way forward is to buy it and have a look for myself.
Any thoughts about how much one of these rifles are worth?
This is my first foray into something like this, so be gentle!

Condition is everything, especially the muzzle if you are looking for a shooter, as regards price. Unless the rifle is going for a song then personally I never buy unless I've inspected it.
Any photographs?

The rifle in question -

According to the RFD, he's selling it on behalf of the owner and in his opinion they were wanting too much for it. After several months of no interest he's reduced the price, I'm apparently the first inquiry.

It's been for sale over a year now, I first saw that one whilst I was on holiday in Shetland last year when it was £700

Dave,
Did you have a look at it and if so what are your thoughts? I've asked for more photos to get a better idea, but as Dromia said condition is everything. I'm not in a rush, so I might head that way in the new year and have a look, myself.

I don't remember it that well I'm afraid (it was the same summer as when I got my Martini Henry) but externally it looked damn good, however the barrel I cannot recall

I would not pay £700 for it sounds expensive to me.

Cheers. I've asked for more pictures, but there's someone else interested so it may well be taken before I'm ready to move on it.

I wouldn't pay £700 for it either! It's now £450.
