4(T) going prices

Does anyone have a view on the current going rate for the 4(T) I am going to get rid of mine but have no idea of a realistic price.
It is a No4 Mk1 with No32 Mk1 Kershaw and transit case.

Salut,
No idea about the px but when one is reffering to such an rifle & scope I think the words "I'll sadly part from" sound much nice than "I am going to get rid of" ... :mrgreen:

I've seen really good examples, in transit box with all the gubbings for £4500!!! Price's do seem to go from two and a half to the upper end....
I have an October 1996 Gunmart still in the drawer that has them for £495......... if only we knew. Every penny of pistol compensation (read 30 pieces of silver!) would have gone on 4T's!

I bought my first No4 in 1980, from Fultons, it cost £17.50 including Parker rearsight and a webbing sling. Mr Robin Fulton offered me a No4T, one of three that were in boxes behind the counter, all were complete as SIM describes "with all the gubbins"..........the price?.....just £50 each......but I did not need one, I was target rifle shooter, no interest in scoped rifles... :roll: :roll:

:shock: - I didn't want to 'tease' you on the forum, as you might not actually want to get rid of it - How come?...Is it because it's worth more as it is, but it needs rebarreling....?

I don’t think it needs re-barrelling, I have had some very good results with it at 300-600m with it off a sandbag and I suspect with some perseverance I could do quite well with it. The problem as ever is fining time with for it. I am out at BR next weekend so I will get the chance to shoot it at 800/1000 yards which can be fun.

I've shot this rifle from a sitting position at 800 yards and it was dropping rounds in the same place on the sand (we didnt have a target up).
If i had the funds I'd buy it
