.22 Trainer day

#1 Post by jjvc »

Had a bit of a .22 trainer day the other week and Droomie brought along some Enfields, namely a No.8, No.9 and No.2.

The No2 Adam has fitted with a Ross micrometer rearsight which is a great aid to target shooting.

My contribution to the trainer day was a Hungarian Lampagyar trainer a very accurate rifle in its own right.

A nice collection :good: The Lampagyar's standard sights are graduated out to 200m from memory, I always wanted to try it at that distance. Certainly a very accurate rifle.

The aperture sight on the No2 is the Canadian version of the Parker Ross rear sight made for the No1 action.
