Hi to all, Obviously just joined this Forum, I have been a member of Shootforum and Pigeon watch as well as BBS and came across you tonight. 44 years old ex hm forces. I currently have SGC and have my FAC in with the boys in blue. I am a member of BASC, NRA, CSSC, BFTA, as well as a couple of fullbore, smallbore and clay grounds in my area. I am looking at doing my DSC1 in the future as well as Range Officer Qualifications in due course. Looking forward to a long enjoyable time as a member of this forum, many thanks Gary

Welcome to F-B(UK) Gary and good luck with the FAC application. This forum is a bit smaller than some of the others which does add a bit of a personal thing, moderation is not quite the same as other such as BBS either. Where are you in the UK and whaat do you plan on shooting when the FAC comes back?

I am in Fife, I shoot at a Air Rifle Club, also a Smallbore Club as well as Fullbore with the Civil Service. BASC insurance in place, I also have permission on a large farm (about 5 to 6 square miles) through someone I know using my daystate MK4 MCT IS .177, I have been shooting on the farm since last year and the farmer has gotten to know me, I have just convinced him with the rimfire and fullbore on his land so have this on the FAC, softly softly catch monkey as it were, so early days but the farmer is happy for me to be able to take out vermin out to further distances and the rimfire will fit the bill, if he has a Fox or Roe problem then I will have my ticket to sort it out for him, obviously subject to FAC being processed OK etc etc. Where are the majority of members based.. Cheers

Welcome to the forum. :good: I'm in the south of Aberdeenshire ( or in Kincardineshire as we used to to say). I'm in the Arbroath Fullbore Gun Club. There's a fairly active club scene from Fife up to Aberdeen and further north - as you maybe know.

This is a great forum, and you'll find that quite a lot of the Scots contingent on this forum are also on Shootforum - a lot of people you may actually meet are there.
