Death Valley trip

The Missus and two of the kids and I took a quick trip to Death Valley last weekend. It is a bit of a drive from my house, 6 hours with a couple of stops along the way. Once you are in the boundries of the park everything seems to be at least an hour's drive from anywhere! We put over 700 miles on the Jeep on this trip but it was worth it. Weather was mid 70s during the day and mostly sunny. We went with another couple who are DV veterans so they showed us around and helped us hit the high spots.

I only know the North East of your great country and I am always amazed at the diversity the place has to offer - Great photos & many thanks for sharing with us

Great pictures! Look at all those people as well!
It reminds me of some of the well known beauty spots in the UK, the places can be packed with people but walk a mile or two and you are completely on your own with only the sounds of nature to keep you company.
