Precision Sharp and Snap Shooting Match, Bisley, 4 Aug 12
Posted: Thu Mar 15, 2012 7:58 pm
The Highpower Rifle Association is running a Precision Sharp and Snap Shooting Match at Bisley on 4 Aug 2012 with a proportion of the entry fee going to the Royal British Legion, this is a repeat of last year's very successful event. The match has been designed to allow many of the regular Civilian Service Rifle shooters and others to get their Remingtons, AWs, AICS mounted custom builds and other bolt guns out for a day on challenging targets for a good cause. We are hoping to have up to 48 entries on the day and Gavin Heywood is trying to get some sponsorship together to support the event from precision rifle builders and suppliers (Gavin of Anglo Custom Rifle has already agreed to provide some support and hopefully he will be able to get more supporters onboard). Whilst this is all KDS the targets are challenging they allow the shooter to engage targets subject to the ability of their equipment and themselves and offer the shooter something different.
The CoF is still requires minor tweaks and agreement of target sizes, then it will be subject to NRA approval, but will be shot from 200 to 600 yards and will consist of about 100+ rounds. Competitors will be required to do their turn pulling targets in the Butts.
Any questions please PM me
