Hi, im Hugh from darkest Devon. Thought id say hello to the members and introduce my self. Im 51, on my second marriage, have 5 children, 2 are mine and took on 3 more. I work for a local construction company with 30 years experience in the building trade. I studied karate for 22 years and reached 2nd Dan black belt. I first shot a rifle in the Army Cadets in the 70s, mostly .303 Lee enfields and later 7.62 FN slrs. I spent some time in the TA where i carried and shot a GPMG heavy macine gun and also a Carl Kustrav 81mm Rocket launcher. I started clay shooting about 7 years ago and shot DTL before taking up rough shooting which then mutated into fox shooting with an HMR and am in the process of applying for a .223 centre fire. Im a member on other forums and tend to watch more than I post....I have learnt a great deal about shooting on these forums and have developed an interest in tactical shooting and military sniping, which i hope to expand on in the future.... Hello again and thank you for reading... Hugh :good:

Welcome to F-B(UK) Hugh, have you decided on which .223 rifle to go for yet?

Hi Hugh. I was down Axminster last week and was surprised by fog. It didn't stop the stalking though! lol
You don't own River Cottage do you? lol

Thank you all for your welcome.... To answer all your questions etc, No i dont own river cottage, but the fishing would be great if i did....The fog on the A35 on the way to Dorset through Axminster can be a real pain, they put up huge neon type signs warning of fog along side the road only the fog can be so bad you cant see them !!!!. The .223 im after is the Remington 700 police topped of with a Bushnell tactical elite scope....Hugh. :good:
