We had a bit of a debate at our last committee meeting about prizes for the various types of shooting we do during the year.

Engraved glasses, wooden shields, or plastic trophies were all discussed but they all seem a bit meaningless to me. I much prefer something that can be passed back at the end of the year and just have a name added to it each year.

Can anybody firstly point me in the direction of somewhere that sells decent shooting trophies/plaques etc so I can have a look at them. I've seen a few places but all very ordinary.

OR

Do you know of anywhere we can get something connected with shooting like an old military brass shell, gun spares that we can mount ourselves (knackered old O/U barrel cut to a few inches and mounted, very cheap deacts etc? Any ideas considered.

We have one trophy at our club for the junior shooter of the year its a skeleton No 4 action and short barrel , also these medals are awarded for the 2 club competitions each year .

How about also doing a cloth badge that people can put on their shooting jackets or whatever?
