A bit like scrapping the TSR2 - just plain stupid.

Sorry - TSR 2 = Tactical Strike Reconnaissance aircraft No. 2.

You had to raise the spectre of the TSR2 Roger, bloody Wilson and his government, they should have been shot for scrapping the project.

I took Christel to see the TSR2 at Duxford last year. Amazing thing to see.

TSR 2 ? I had a model of that on the back of a cereal packet. If I remember rightly, Airfix were none too pleased either..
My old man was furious about it being scrapped, it was one of the few times as a little kid that I ever remember him really going into one.

My father was none too impressed either which is probably why I am so passionate about it as well.
