It's aimed at any publication, but the precedent was set by the NRA journal which stole one of my pictures and reproduced a very poor quality copy without permission or a credit.

Makes us feel a little bit left out: we just turn up to shoot with an old Mosin Nagant M1891, a pawful of surplus canned bangs and the old Russian leather sling to wrap round our wrist to try and steady the wobbles...




Looking at picture no2, we have to wonder what mix of berries the pigeons had been eating afore they decorated that stock ! And is it just us, or can anyone else see the skull staring out from halfway down the stock ?

Bnz had the pleasure of shooting alongside one of these chaps with an old Mosin Nagant sniper at 600 yards. Five V Bulls in a row :goodjob:

I can see the skull, what about Mickey Mouse in picture 5?

Dunno about mickey mouse but Eager No Skill should have worn his hat, his hair got blown away :shakeshout: (pic4)

Yuppity ! We can see Michael Mouse !

It would also be appreciated if the shooters, or other knowledgububble oomans, could identify each of the guns shown in the pictures and detail their specifications, eg barrel maker, length, calibre, action, stock and so forth. It would make a nice little reference for us small kreechers.

Great pictures Rox, they capture the moment very well. I hope the weather holds out for them today.

Excellent pictures! I do like those "pretty" rifles, but don't ever see me owning one......

oooooh no - the weather definitely broke today. Wet, miserable and cold. Very. Although the wind was moderate, it was also steady and fairly predictable. Enjoyed taking a few shots with ENS' rifle, and had a satisfactory V count for my first 5 shots with an F class rifle on an F class target. It was a very successful meeting indeed, which was very rewarding, and made lots of new friends. Now to hit the road back to Belgium :(
