Another 357 Marlin just gone up on UKV at £495 inc bullets, and he'll do RFD to RFD.

i'm still on the look out !
the one on airgunbbs and ukv is perfect however the sellers RFD is wanting £50+ for postage ! (which i think is a real p**s take, the most i have ever paid is £25 !) and then when i put another £25 on for my RFD to put it through his books, makes the rifle to expensive for a second hand 1 !

Bugger, I was hoping for a happy ending!

You ever over in Scotland? The seller could lodge with his RFD and then you could pick it up next time you are over?

me too !
but i think an additional £75 on the price is just not worth it
i would be in Scotland about twice a year, but always around the Dumfries area, so that wouldnt really work, and his RFD would probably want £5 a week for storage/safe keeping !!
the search continues
not happy i missed the 1 on guntrader for 475 with reloading dies and brass etc !

Bri,

Sorry matey, but I reckon you should not quibble over the 75 quid! That gives you all in of 570. That's at east 200 quid cheaper than new and looking at this one, it seems like a good 'un.....

You have to bear i mind that S/H prices of Marlins have gone through the roof. Firstly because Edgar Bros got the UK importers gig and shoved 30% straight on and secondly, Remington really have messed them up!

Then again, how much is a flight from the Province these days? Would the 75 quid cover it to get over for one of the days of Phoenix?
