I am looking for a 5 round AK 47 7.62x39 magazine.

Hmm, and we'd like to have a 20 or 30 round magazine to fit under our Goblinator*

Thanks I have ordered one to see what they are like if its OK I will order a couple more.

I recieved the 5 round magazine it looks like its original unfortuanetly it wont fit in my rifle dont understand why because it looks exactly like the 10 round one I all ready have that works fine.

Must be some thing different about this one but I can not see what it is. But I will measure it up properly and see if I can determine what the difference is. I might be able to engineer a solution.

But I can not fault the guy I bought it off its has he described it and it came within a couple of days of ordering it.

Is your rifle a Saiga ? Saiga mags have built in bullet guides at the front and also have a thinner locking lug at the rear, to make an AK mag fit a Saiga you have to file down the locking lug and weld in a bullet guide. Easier way is to add a bullet guide to the rifle and file down the mag catch then you can use any ak mags.

No my rifle is not a Saiga but thanks for the link. I checked the site out and I think it may have given me a clue as to what the problem is. I think the front locking lug needs to be relieved slightly. Thanks again.
