Hi,

New member here!

Just got back into full bore/target shooting a year or so ago, after catching the "bug" from visiting Bisley with an NRA member and subsequently becoming a member myself.

I received my FAC in April (thanks to South London Firearms department who were great!) and promptly went out and spent the new car fund on a Howa 1500 varmint .308 and a S&W M&P 15-22. It would now seem I can't stop buying accessories although the shotguns now don't see any use!

In fact I think I may be a tad obsessed now.

Anyway, all of the relevant shooting questions I was googling seemed to lead me to this site, and the answers always seem to be helpful, friendly and from experienced people, so I thought I'd take the plunge myself.

Adam

Welcome to F-B(UK) Adam, nothing wrong with spanking the new car fund for a rifle or two and I say this with some conviction as I look out at our car sitting outside. We play spot the older car when we drive up and down the motorway and usually win....

I had a flat in Colliers Wood once (Milton Road) and used to shoot at the Ham & Petersham. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the kind welcome! Plenty of questions I'm afraid so I'll try and ration them.

Know Colliers wood - in fact lived there myself before I got hitched.

Are you letting your house out for the tennis? We used to keep well clear this time of year.

We have thought about it as we're pretty close (only a 5-10 min walk) but never really got around to it. However, should the wife spot the "dent" in the car fund then it could well be on the cards for next year.
