Okay. I'm not trying to start anything, but I'm so genuinly confused here. Maybe an older and wiser person can explain this to me.

From what I can see. Someone in the US makes a 14 minute film that slags off Islam, then after it's "public" the entire Islamic world erupts and people have actualy died!

That seems to be their only gribe. They were offended. Am I the only one thinking "So. You're offended. Deal with it!" A lot of things offend me, but I don't bloody riot and kill people.

I'm actually a little fudgin' angry about that. People have actually died, yes, lost their lives because once again a certain group of people (who believe their religion is peaceful) feel slighted and tear the place to peices.

Is anyone else thinking; what the actual effin' crap is going on here?

Have I gotten the wrong end of the stick, or is this literally over the fact that some 14-minute, independant film offended a bunch of people?

I just find the whole thing; scary, idiotic and just... sad

I am fairly certain that the majority of the rioters have not seen this film.

They will use any means to kick up because that is what they do, they kick up.

Also I think it is important to not confuse these rioters with ordinary muslims.

Of course you've got the wrong end of the stick, you are not a radical, nutter, muslim.

Incidents like this make it increasingly harder to argue against our own quota of nutters; the anti Islam radicals on 'our side.'

I just watched the 'film' on youtube for the first time. It ended and I'm sat here thinking "is that it?". :roll:

Surely if their faith was strong, they'd just dismiss it? It's just a crappy low-budget amateur job, so it's hardly coming across as a credible factual film based on years of research. Or....maybe it cuts too close to the bone?

People are dying because of this? Nut jobs, the lot of 'em.

To be honest, calling it a film is pushing it a bit from what we can see on YouTube! The production is hilarious, completely overshadows the subject in my book. However, as to the issue of them taking offence, I believe Pat Condell has commented on the matter here (I've not actually heard it myself yet so apologies if I'm mistaken).

Now I'm probably going to be shot at again as I drive throught East Dearbornistan at work this evening because of this, but....

Many people are so childish and ignorant that they actualy beleive a word can do harm and damage.
They can not help it.
Their leaders have worked very hard for centuries to keep the people stupid. (Just like the Liberals)
We should actually feel sorry for them just because of their stupidity.
But they like it and want to be that way.
these people also refuse to listen to any logic or reason.(wow again just like the liberals!)
Yes the radicals of the different Christian sects do stupid and hatefull things also, but when someone belittles Jesus or burns a Bible you do not see Them rushing out to kill and burn just because it is fun.

Stupid is as Stupid does.

Islam is a religion of peace, I accept that - no problem.

I just hate the heathen b...... who use it as an excuse for the violence they love and live by.
