I have just bought a brno.22 bolt action second hand with a 10 shot magasine which has seen better days, i can't get the magasine to cycle cleanly atleast 2 out of the 10 shots get rejected and the 10th round always pops out of place does any one have any ideas why?

Sounds like a worn mag to me as we get this problem with some of our club guns that have been used a fair bit and normally the issue is resolved by a new mag, had it on Ruger 10/22's, Norinco bolt actions, m & p 15-22's etc
Do you know anyone that has the same gun that you could borrow a mag to try it?

it is identical to the ones in the strip down guides, and after adjusting the spring it runs slightly better. unfortunately i don't unless there is some one else in hereford with one?

Try adding a side-car to your cycle, it's a steadier platform....

Have you taken it apart and cleaned it ? make sure the follower is running free and is in the right way round , does the nose of the bullet drag on the front of the mag as it slides up ?
