SAVAGE BA10 in .308/7.62
Hey ho people,
So I've been looking around the web (dangerous I know) trying to find the kind of rifle I'd like to shoot and I keep coming back to this: a SAVAGE BA10 in .308/7.62
Now I know that will appeal to some, not to others and everyone has a pref. for a certain make and model.
I suppose I would like your opinions on whether this would be a good rifle for me to start with or am I going to have troubles right from the off. I want something that I can grow into so to speak and not something that I have to get rid of in a year or so.
Anyone had experience shooting these?
All help appreciated
John

That sure is uuuuuugly tongueout
However, from personal experience Savages shoot very well straight out of the box. Can't go wrong there me thinks.

I don't think its ugly at all.
But then again I didn't think Sim G's Ruger Mini was ugly either, but seemed like everyone else did!
That's the great thing about guns, there's something out there for everyone!

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

John,
What do you intend to shoot with it? (Discipline wise) as I could find something more to my liking for an awful lot less pennies! (£2800!)

Targets from 100yrds + not sure what class they would come under (F class?)
I can see me with just one .762/.308 rifle so I want one I can grow with and maybe do a bit of fetteling later on. My other (original rifle choice) thought was a Remington 700 police type that can be customised in the future.
Oh I'll add I'm a leftie too!
So do you have some suggestions?
All help appreciated.
John
