Have any of the "national" and governing bodies responded to the findings of the above survey and the trends that it highlights. If so could some one point me in that/those direction(s) please

errrr...

Guess what - this is the first I've heard.

Now I mostly deal with the firearms, ammo, stock, legal and range safety side of the NRA. But I'm a member and in contact with the people who run the shooting side.

Can you provide a link? Is it that sort of survey?

wtfwtf

I completed the first survey back in 2009 but have never been asked to complete any further ones! My email hasn't changed neither have any of my memberships of associations or clubs so why haven't I had another chance to reply?

This is also the first I have heard of this survey since 2009!

Obviously not very representative ****

Out of 1200 participants in that poll, 500 were primarily shotgun shooters and a whopping 16% (200) were fullbore shooters. (obviously I'm rounding)

I suggest the survey is unrepresentative of fullbore shooters, at best.

edit to add - simple solution, get the NRA to publicise it in time for next year's issue. Free opinion polling can't be a bad thing!

That'll be why I didn't see it - was rather busy sorting out the GB team off to South Africa the next day so it probably didn't register.

However dont remember seeing it the last two years either
