New Rifle - SGC .223

#1 Post by judders »

Nothing out of the ordinary, but thought I'd follow the good ol' tradition of posting pics of the new rifle I collected today.

I've borrowed the scope and rings from a mate so that I can shoot it on Sunday. Will definitely be going for something a little more compact though, when I can make my mind up what to buy. I plan to change the stock, grip and forend in time, but these will do in the short term.

Also need to pick up a few extra mags, 20 and 10 rounders and a muzzle brake that fits 3/4 x 16 thread. Suggestions on potential suppliers very welcome.

Nice Rifle.

Now I'm really worried about my place in next year's Methuen Team fingerscrossed

Do you want a muzzle brake on a .223 ? it doesn't recoil much, so most just have flash hiders - ALOT cheaper. ( dont know about the thread size )

Try Mark Bradley for P-Mags he had loads last time I wanted some.

PS Nice side cocking handle - very up market. tongueout

I don't think you have anything to worry about!

Fair point. I'll see how I go on Sunday, but saving money is a good thing as I seem to be getting through quite a lot of it recently.
