Ello Chaspuss - tis indeed good clarification on French firearms law that paves the way for a future there & one that is manageable. Mind U my french colleagues say they cant sho0t anything over 200m & do not believe even the youTube videos of people shooting 1000-1200yds
Have u joined the Normandy RC? they run the Agincourt match (aka the mad minute) at Bisley every year on the day before Queens final - great fun - any service rifle of old, 15 rnds max, clips of 5, 60secs standing, 300yds am sure you can put that together then add Pimms & lemonade after.

Hi hitchphil,
I live too far from Normandy to join anyone there! The roads here in Brittany are, sadly, not high speed!!
It seems to shoot over 200 metres you need to be in the know, all too familiar, and have military contacts. I have had an invite to a military range around Lorient but no date yet, hopefully in the summer! I have three colleagues in the club who shoot on a regular/irregular basis with the MLAGB in Bisley. I suspect the irregular visits may be due to La Patronne (The Boss)!!
