And you have proof the reload was dodgy?
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

I have never used a handload in my SGC 9mm, I have used surplus L7 ammo, there was a lot around a year or so ago, it was hot, but very accurate, I managed to blag 1000 rds of winchester white box when I got the rifle, this was excellent ammo, clean, accurate, 115 gr FMJ, I have used imi, barnaul, fiocchi, RG surplus, and sellior and ballot, the s&b and fiocchi were also clean accurate ammo, the barnaul shoots ok to 25yards, after that it seems to spread, but it is very dirty ammo, and you need to keep on top of a cleaning regime if you use it, the L7 ammo, which was intact made by Hirtenberg, is excellent, ragged 1 hole groups back to 50 and I can hold a 6 in shoot n c at 100, but I fear that to much of the will cause early wear on the rifle.

Great little rifle to shoot, I've had it nearly 3 years, one of the first to get one after they were passed off, and I recon easy 6000 rds through it, the only stoppages I have had have been caused by cleanliness.
