I'd be really interested in the outcome of this. Especially the ones that turn the copper all manky!

Question, though: aren't foams designed to be used with a brush, i.e. with mechanical/abrasive action? Is it a fair test to include them alongside genuine copper solvents?

Gaz, Just about all copper solvents/bore cleaners can be used with or without a brush. For the Forest Foam they basically say foam the barrel, wait 15-30 minutes and then patch out.

I am not using any mechanical process as I would not be able to keep it even across the different solvents and shooting ten identical rifles with ten identical barrels and ten identical loads and then cleaning them is not an option for me. Even without barrels or brushes this is interesting.
