Your cheapeat option would be to get it done at a printers but then quantity and set up fees come into it. Screen print would be the next cheapest I think. Going with colour I think trebles the price only guessing. I can get poster paper for out door use and do some samples for you but would never be able to compete with mainstream printers.

I checked with my local print shop and it wasn't economically viable and that was with ordinary paper! I realise colour costs more, but it would be nice if the cost could be justified - maybe once things are up and running?

Thanks, but there's still work to be done - targets, scoring, course of fire to be worked out - not to mention the postal comp. I suppose I have to start thinking about a trophy as well! sign01

I would like to give it a go just trying to decide on caliber (not much to choose from 308. 22/250 or 223). I don't know if any at our club are interested but I would manage Cawdor if invited hint hint.
I will make up targets for the other distances when I can. I bought some printable wall paper and printed on to it for a look see and it printed very well. Dunno how it will stand up to rain tho. I am going to order some poster paper outdoor type so it is water resistant at 760mm wide and see if the thinner stuff can take the ink load or, see how much I can reduce the ink load and still get a decent finished target.

It would be great if you could turn up.
Strath is a very welcoming club. Guests are to allowed to compete in club comps but some have rules on eligabity. This is something I'll have to look into.

I'll like the targets to be a one size fits all (distances) sort of thing. Calibre - as long as deer lega(Scotland) anything goes! :lol:
