Bump Firing taken to extremes
Thought this was interesting. How to turn your semi in to a full auto. Would this be classed as illegal here, when it's just changing the stock and grip? I don't want one, just curious if it circumvents current UK laws.

Re: Bump Firing taken to extremes
It relies on the rifle being semi-auto so not a possibility in the UK (apart from .22). Seems a bit of a short term gimmick to me. The whole concept of the gun bouncing backward and forward means that you couldn't get even a pretence of accuracy (as if you could in full auto anyway). I think you'd pretty soon get bored with it.

Sorry I should have said, I was only talking about .22. If you didn't watch the whole video, take a look at him shooting in the range around the 50 second mark, It looks surprisingly accurate at short range.
I suspect you'd get some death stares at the range with this...

We all got to shoot this at the Shot Show range day - awesome but very difficult to control!HALODIN wrote:Thought this was interesting. How to turn your semi in to a full auto. Would it be legal over here? Well, for a start, it would need to work with a rimfire which may not have enough recoil.
Re: Bump Firing taken to extremes
Yes good point... and I think the answer is it probably wouldn't work with .22. :cool2:
Looks like fun though.
